Shades of Pink

Today’s weather was simply perfect in Los Angeles! It was sunny but slightly chilly which allowed me layer 🙂 I decided to base my outfit around a pair of shoes, which is something I tend to do often. Today’s shoes are from ShoeDazzle and the two-tone pink caught my eye immediately! I’m a sucker to cap toed pumps so this was a no-brainer for me.

I had been dying to wear my “trash bag” skirt from Forever 21 for weeks, so I was excited to be able to blog it today. I call it a trash bag skirt because it has that appeal in person, think “Derelicte”, the line Mugatu created in Zoolander, except not-actually made of trash. It’s one of my favorite buys as it adds a perfect edge to the skater skirt’s feminine aesthetic.
