Just recently I discovered the world of Old Navy, sad- I know.
While doing a blogger contest for TwoPointOh LA and Westfield Culver City, one of the participating stores for the Spring Style: Battle of the Bloggers (you can vote for my looks by clicking here I’m DENIZ), was Old Navy. At first I got nervous, as I had never been in and didn’t know what to expect. Upon entering I immediately immersed myself with their bold colors, clean basics, comfy styles and unbeatable prices. It was like finding out Santa Claus was real, at the tender age of 25.
As I was pulling for my look for the contest, I couldn’t help but want to buy basically everything I tried on. The fit of the clothing was awesome, as with most reasonable priced stores, fit is always a battle. Old Navy delivered.
So, to show my love, here is a post of a few item’s I saw in-store, and have stalked online. I hope you enjoy! All images via Old Navy.
This easy and stylish racer back tank comes in an array of colors and prints. A great basic to throw on over a cute pair of shorts, or a pair of jeans. I love the colors in this one. If you want to sex-ify (yes, I just used that term), then tuck the top into a skirt, and you can be casually sexy!
I absolutely adore this Mexicali inspired top. I love cozy gauze fabrics and these kind of tops just scream Summer. I typically get Large’s to wear them as tunics, but even with a nice pair of denim shorts, these tops really add a nice flair. I love the purple, personally.
The moment my eyes saw these gauze shorts, my jaw dropped. I cannot say how much I love these enough. Beach shorts? Check. Lounge shorts? Check. Daytime running errands but still looking cute and fabulous shorts? Check. And navy is a classic color.
Who says you have to actually go on a Safari to look safari-chic? This adorable linen-blend tunic is on trend and paired with a hot wedge sandal, you’re basically the one who will be explored, with all eyes on you. A cute straw hat would add a nice touch!
This asymmetrical cardigan is perfect to keep you cozy during a bonfire at the beach, or just compliment your cute summer dress. I love the color, and the length is perfect. Not too cropped, not too long!
The perfect motorcycle-linen jacket. I can’t even begin to explain my love for this. I love motorcycle inspired jackets as I love to add a little edge to my feminine looks. Call me bohemian rocker, or classic rock. Regardless, it’s hard to not look at this jacket and smile.
These are just a FEW of the maybe (20+) other things I love. Be sure to check Old Navy out! 🙂
