It’s been a whirlwind two weeks as I’ve been running around the world trying to embrace the beauty of this world. I went back to Istanbul to visit my family again, and then to Luxembourg and Germany for four days. I used this time to disconnect and just enjoy the moments I was in. I have had a hard time doing that lately because I’m always thinking about what I have to do next! It felt so good and I promised myself to let go of technology once in awhile and give myself that time to process all the beauty that is around me.
On a lighter note, this coat I got recently has been my newest obsession. I don’t own anything in this color and I can’t get enough of it. It’s so rich and luxe and the coat itself kept me cozy while braving through the windy streets in Istanbul. This rich rust color is truly the most perfect hue. There is just something about a long rust coat that makes me feel like a super stylish female version of Keanu Reeves in the Matrix (no, I’ve never seen the movie!!! eek!).
I paired this rust coat with a medium wash jean, a neutral turtleneck and cognac booties. I love shades of brown/rust/camel because I think they’re so classic and incredibly chic.
