Parisian Hip

I am so happy to have purchased a pair of awesome leatherette shorts. I’ve been on the hunt for a pair for almost four months, so I was so excited to snag a pair before they sold out. I am a lover of leather-esque pieces, and I love to mix them with different pieces to create a very unique look.

Today, I wore my leatherette shorts with a striped 3/4 sleeve top. I was feeling rather “stereotypical Parisian” with my concept for my look, but the leatherette shorts definitely added a special twist to the otherwise stereotypical black pant associated with it. I also got to wear my new studded loafers from DV by Dolce Vita. I have been salivating over studded loafers but never found the perfect pair until I came across the “Wink” by this brand. The loafers are clean suede, and the hardware is not overwhelming which maintains a classic look for the shoe.

Since I love pops of color, I decided to go for a bold red lip. I don’t usually wear red, but I was feeling confident. Also, I finally got my new prescription glasses and I love them. The one’s I’m wearing are Tom Ford, and they also come in black. I wanted a pair of “trendy” ophthalmic eye wear and these were edgy yet still very feminine due to the ombre palette of brown.
