As you all may know, I participated in an awesome blogging contest with Westfield Culver City & my fellow blogger buddies from TwoPointOh LA this May. The contest was between me and four other amazingly talented and stylish bloggers; Kelly Lee of BussBuss.com, Tiara of The Dope Girl, Ariana of La Catrina, and Kelsi of Dedicated Follower of Fashion. All of these talented bloggers went head to head in search of Spring’s hottest looks! Everyone did such an amazing job and with each blogger being so unique, it was a tough competition. I feel blessed to have worked with such lovely women and talented bloggers. Congrats to everyone who was part of this project, I feel like we’re all winners!
The competition was going through the mall searching for looks that best represented Spring style. From maxi skirts to coral to pattern on pattern, there were so many trends to choose from, and each blogger utilized their resources well and stayed true to their personal style, which is what made this contest awesome.

The contest winnings were a $500 shopping spree at Westfield Culver City for the blogger AND for a lucky winning voter! I though that was awesome because it allows people to be part of the contest as well! The winner voter was a wonderful woman from Arizona, her name was Camie. I couldn’t have asked for a better shopping buddy, she was smart, funny and extremely pleasant to be around. We had a lot in common and the day went by so fast, it was sad to leave!
We started the day at Lucille’s BBQ in the Westfield Culver City mall…and let me tell you- it’s to DIE for. Everything we had was finger lickin’ good and the service was out of this world. I would highly recommend it, and when you go, get the pulled pork sandwich (YUM!). After our delicious lunch we met with our fabulous photographer for the day, Renee. She followed us around as we shopped and was such a delight to hang out with. She took ALL the awesome photos I will be posting and be sure to check out all her other fabulous photography here.
We went to Foreign Exchange, Disney Store, Sephora & Best Buy where we used our gift cards rather wisely… 😉
Camie bought new perfumes and bubble bath products and lots of fun toys for her adorable son from the Disney Store. I saved my money and waited and got myself a brand spankin’ new iPad 2. I figured, as a fashion blogger, why not have a mobile lightweight “computer”…okay, who am I kidding, I wanted it for other reasons, but I always have to justify my purchases. Let’s just say, our shopping spree was a success!
