LFM Fitness: Got Squats?

Hey everyone! I have to say that I’ve started on my New Year’s resolutions early (second week of December) and I’ve been sticking to it! I recently started Crossfit and I am absolutely addicted. I go to this amazing Crossfit gym in Montrose (between Glendale/Pasadena) and I was lucky enough to meet Vaz. Vaz is hands down the best coach/trainer I have ever met. His challenging workouts, positive energy and attentiveness makes him stand out from the rest.

Today we did a demo on how to do a proper squat. For all you ladies out there…this is one of the best workouts for your tush. Let me say I have been working on my ASS-ets all month!

The good thing about squats is that you can do them ANYWHERE!

Let’s begin!

Step 1: Be sure to stand at hip distance apart with your feet pointing out (but not a plie)

Step 2: Stick that ass out! Make sure to keep your core tight.

Step 3: How LOW can you GO? Make sure to sit where your hip crease is below the knee.

Step 4: And…repeat!
