Feeling Blue

I’m obsessed with the sheer asymmetrical skirt trend. I recently bought a black one, but haven’t worn it yet. I finally found the blue version I had been looking for! As cliché as that sounds, I had looked for cobalt blue skirt similar to this one, and I was very happy to have come across it. EVEN BETTER; I just stocked up on this skirt on my online store; Sugar & Sequins.

I styled a look for 2b stores with a skirt that is similar, and someone actually wrote; “I want to see this fashion on an actual person”, which is what prompted me to immediately wear it.

I kept it super casual with a white tee shirt but added some sparkle with a rhinestone belt and silver cuff. To make my legs look longer (the skirt is much longer in the back), I wore my go-to shoes (although played out, I still love them), my Jessica Simpson “DANY” platforms. I wore this today for work and I literally was feeling anything but blue.

Naturally, with an unexpected excitement and outfit inspiration, I had to do an impromptu photo shoot. Sorry for the poor quality of the images, I just had to immediately share my new favorite skirt! 🙂

  1. I became obsessed with high-low hemlines last winter, and I still wear them all the time. I adore the flash of skin in the front and modesty in the back. So chic and elegant! You look lovely! The cobalt blue color is one of my favorites.

  2. A mullet skirt…. I want one. i would like to have in black
with my platform shoes that I recently bought and I do like the belt that you are wearing for a more elegant style.
